About Claire Young
I’m a Chartered Physiotherapist, qualified in 1980 at the University of Cape Town, originally from Zimbabwe.
I worked in hospitals, had a career break to raise children, and then opened my private practice in Irvine in 2001. I’ve enjoyed going on further specialist training courses & workshops and developing my skills as a musculo-skeletal therapist.
Listening to your unique situation (injury, pain, life style, preferences) guides my choice of treatments. I tend to use remedial massage, exercises, explanation and advice. If I can’t help you I have a network of other therapists I refer you on to.
I like people to understand how to help themselves over time and how to improve their overall health and well being, so as to live life to their ‘full’.
Please feel free to give me a phone call and discuss what I can do for you. Click here for my contact details.
